If you want to stay for dinner after one of these workshops, you will need to make reservations ahead of time on The Fort's website. Walk-ins for dinner may not be guaranteed a reservation.
Native American Beading Workshop
JoDene Sherwood (Blackfeet/Assiniboine/Cree) will lecture about the history of bead work. She will start from porcupine quill work to the modern-day style bead work. JoDene will explain the evolution of beads over the years and demonstrate different styles and techniques used in beading. The participants will be taking home a small starting packet for beading.
