Native American Beaded Earring Workshop

Join us for a hands-on Native American beading class focused on creating your own pair of handcrafted beaded earrings. Guided by an experienced Indigenous instructor, JoDene Sherwood (Assiniboine, Blackfeet and Cree), participants will learn traditional beading techniques, patterns, and methods for working with needle, thread, and seed beads. This class is suitable for beginners as well as those looking to refine their skills. All materials are provided, and each participant will leave with a finished pair of earrings and a deeper appreciation for the artistry behind them.

CORKS & CANVAS

Corks and Canvas is a relaxed, step-by-step painting and wine class designed for all skill levels. For the inaugural session, participants will paint a charming bear in honor of Sissy Bear, the beloved bear who once lived at The Fort Restaurant. 

Gwen Ahlers, an experienced art instructor, will guide guests through creating their own canvas masterpiece while encouraging creativity and personal flair. With a glass of wine in hand and a warm, social atmosphere, everyone will leave with a finished painting and a memorable connection to The Fort’s unique history.
