Echoes of the Drum and Feast of the Land

Join us for a special evening that celebrates the rich heritage and enduring traditions of Native Americans.  Dine on a specially crafted menu inspired by the foods that our ancestral Native Americans enjoyed—reimagined with The Fort’s signature twist. As the sun sets over our scenic outdoor patio, experience the powerful rhythm of the Native drummer and the lithe movements of traditional dancers.  Date & Time:  Wednesday, October 15, 2025 ~ 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Francis Sherwood (Arikara/Hidatsa/ Navajo),  JoDene Sherwood (Blackfeet/Assiniboine/Cree) and their daughters will be the night’s performers.  The Sherwood Family is from Aurora, CO.

Menu:  Appetizer - Pueblo fried squash blossoms served with chokecherry honey; Soup - Pueblo pumpkin soup; Bread; Entrée - Maple vinegar marinated rack of venison served with cranberry wild rice pilar, and maple molasses baked beans; Dessert - Cherokee huckleberry honey cake.
